Senior Planner

We are currently supporting a major semiconductor construction project in Dresden and are looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join the project team on a long-term freelance basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the construction schedule across several major technical packages, working closely with subcontractors and the wider project controls team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
• Integrate subcontractor programmes into the overall project schedule
• Monitor construction progress and validate progress reported by contractors
• Lead and support weekly planning and progress meetings
• Identify schedule delays, critical-path issues and potential risks
• Develop recovery plans and schedule mitigation measures
• Coordinate interfaces between different construction and MEP packages
• Produce weekly progress reports and schedule forecasts
• Support planning activities through construction, commissioning and handover

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Planner / Senior Planner on major construction projects
• Advanced Primavera P6 experience
• Experience within semiconductor, cleanroom, pharmaceutical or other high-tech construction environments
• Strong knowledge of technical packages such as HVAC, wet piping, electrical and/or fire protection
• Experience managing and integrating subcontractor schedules
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, progress measurement and critical-path analysis
• Able to work on-site in Dresden
